The DOSKIDO 2024 was the last DOSKIDO

41 years of Square & Round Dancing in the Alps have come to an end.

Sharp rises in costs after Covid made it less and less attractive.
Invented in 1981 by caller colleague Rudi Mennes with the Munich Roadrunners, DOSKIDO was THE square and round dance winter event par excellence, the original, for over 41 years.
Personally, I have had the pleasure and honor of being there since 1986. There have been many wonderful winter weeks since then.

When you say goodbye, say Servus quietly... It's fitting that the Austrian singer Peter Alexander interpreted this song.
